Job Description

You are expected to:

  • Perform market and industry research;
  • Develop financial models to value private companies;
  • Identify and value intangible assets for financial reporting, tax or M&A purposes;
  • Analyse if the financial projections are reasonable by comparing against appropriate benchmarks;
  • Prepare and deliver high quality valuation reports in accordance with relevant international valuation standards and/or financial reporting standards;
  • Depending on the nature of the project, overseas travel will be required.


  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Candidates with other degrees but with strong interest in valuation are welcome to apply;
  • Previous working experience is a plus;
  • Able to work independently with little supervision;
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Familiar with valuation methodologies such as income approach, market approach and cost approach;
  • Familiar with Bloomberg terminal;
  • Basic understanding of relevant financial reporting standards;
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word;
  • Relevant certifications (CFA, CVA, RICS or ASA) is a plus;
